I enjoyed spending time in the field, collecting data the beautiful Padilla Bay estuary- learning to identify species of invertebrates, crabs and eel grasses was also enjoyable.
What I wish was different
Having an internship experience that wasn't impacted by COVID 19 would have been preferable, as this would have allowed me to spend time working in the Padilla Bay NERR lab, as well as remotely and in the field.
Advice
Science is a time-consuming process, and requires patience and hard work!
