The work environment was great and the people were so encouraging to work with. Loved learning how to create a learning environment for such small people and seeing how their personalities grew over time was so rewarding.
What I wish was different
More solidified schedule, some days would be called out due to lack of children showing up for the day. Although this wasn't often, because I was an hourly worker when it did happen my paycheck took some damage.
Advice
Working with small children can be difficult at times but it is an incredible experience that leads to so many amazing interactions. Although not always the easiest of jobs it really helps cultivate how we view children, their education and how important positive interactions can be in building their view of adults, learning and one another interactions.
