Pace is a large public transit agency in Northeastern Illinois operating over 225 fixed routes including feeder routes, all-day routes, express routes, bus on shoulders service, and Pulse rapid service along with, van pools, ride share, dial-a-ride, ADA and Pace On Demand services in a 3500 square mile area serving 280 communities.
Pace is the suburban bus division of the Regional Transportation Authority and is the sister division of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) and METRA Commuter Rail.
Pace headquarters is located 25 miles northwest of downtown Chicago and is served by a variety of bus routes connecting to CTA rapid transit stations and other Pace hubs. Pace Route 606 connects the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station with Pace's front door in Arlington Heights.
