What I wish was different
I wish that I could have found a job slightly closer to home, as I spend a good bit of time traveling to work each day. This also coincides with my desire for longer shifts, as on average I only work 4.5 hours per shift.
Advice
Know your menu if this is the type of job you are going for. Being educated on the needs of guests will make them think you are a professional and deserving of higher pay. Also befriend the cooks, they will make or break your experience in the restaurant industry.

Management and coworkers are great. They raised the pay and still include tip share which is also nice.
