Advice
I knew asking questions was important, but this experience solidified just how important it was. After the Summer I got back to school and a few of my friends spent their Summer working similar internships where they learned a fraction of what I did. I learned as much as I did because I was always pestering my colleagues with questions. No matter how trivial they may have seemed, I always let them fly.
My coworker's quickly recognized this trait, and as soon as they got done explaining something to me, they knew I had a list of a dozen of questions I wanted to ask, and I am better because of it.
In short, be eager to learn and don't be afraid to ask questions, even if they may seem trivial. It will not only be useful to add the bits of information to your repertoire, but it helps people around you solidify their understanding on the matter. They say you truly know your stuff if you can teach it proficiently.
