The staff was incredible to work with. Answered all my questions, explained as much as they could, and allowed me to watch their room visits without being ignored.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have gotten into the OR, but the pandemic wasn’t conducive to my participation in the OR.
Advice
Make sure you are doing your own research outside of the internship, bring questions and show your interest beyond just following around the physicians.
