What I liked

During my time at Onshape, I was working directly on important company products, including but not limited to the recently launched enterprise product. It was very fulfilling working on meaningful work at an up-and-coming startup.

What I wish was different

I wish there were more networking opportunities presented to me. It was not always easy to network with my colleagues, including other interns. I wish that both the company put more effort into presenting interns with opportunities to network, and that I put more effort into networking as well.

Advice

Something I learned from my experience at Onshape is that it is never a bad idea to seek help when you need it. It can become intimidating seeking help, but at the end of the day, everyone hits roadblocks and your colleagues will always be understanding and helpful in the case that you hit one.
