Sales Intern

January 2022 • Burlington, VT

What I liked

The culture of open/fair/innovative/independent can be found at the core of our everyday actions. You are given the opportunity every day to make an impact, no matter how big or small, and it will be recognized. Even though I was an intern, I felt like my work made a significant impact on the organizations. Everyone is open to feedback and new ideas for improvement.

What I wish was different

Onboarding is a bit rough and can feel a bit dragged out. This is acknowledged off the bat and there is been significant work done by the hiring team to improve this process.

Advice

- Please reach out for help when you need it. Everyone I have met is extremely approachable. - Take initiative on projects you're given and provide meaningful feedback to upper management because that work will contribute directly to long-term initiatives.

Human Resources Intern

June - December 2019 • South Burlington, VT

What I liked

I really like that OnLogic not only taught me about working in a professional environment, they also helped me develop professionally outside of the walls of the company. I was guided in how to go about finding a job after college and narrow down jobs that I could pursue.

What I wish was different

I wish that I had longer at OnLogic! It has been such a learning experience and have met some amazing people along the way.

Advice

One piece of advice is that even if you think you can't do something, you always can. I was a nervous wreck going into my interviews, then going in on my first day, and handly different responsibilities. But, I was able to do all of it and its helped build my confidence in my skills.
