I learned so much from this internship; there was never a dull moment. I had lots of different projects throughout the summer that gave me a lot of real world experience. I also got to meet a lot of other interns as we worked on a summer long project that we presented to company leaders at the end of our internships. I really appreciated the mentoring program that OneAmerica offers to interns. I really connected with my mentor. Lastly, OneAmerica had great benefits including free downtown parking, great pay (for an internship), and discounted food and event tickets.
What I wish was different
I actually can't think of anything I would have changed about my internship this summer. It was an amazing experience.
Advice
Take advantage of the opportunities to shadow others in the company and network with executives.
