I loved being able to receive real-life, hands on experience in my area of study. It helped open my eyes to what a job in the accounting world is really like. I also got to see what a job in the oil and natural gas industry is like, while learning about the industry and the company itself.

I wish for a full time entry level position they would offer a leadership rotation or management training program

It gives a great and broad knowledge base of the industry and be willing to listen and take advantage of the opportunity

What I liked
I loved the experience all in all! ONE Gas is a great company that really cared about their interns. I liked that I was doing a real project that actually benefitted the company.
What I wish was different
I really wouldn't change anything. The internship was virtual, so I wish we got some more in-person activities. However, I'm sure the next intern class will get those!
Advice
Ask questions! Sometimes it seems intimidating, but they want you to ask questions! You are an intern. You aren't supposed to know everything, and they know that. Asking questions shows your interest.
