I liked learning all the aspects behind developing a product between doing material testing on Instrons, design modeling on SOLIDWORKS then 3D printing it. Also, we did medical imaging under a microscope after doing tissue testing which I found to be fascinating.
What I wish was different
I wish we did not have to give a presentation of what we learned at the company but this field you will be giving a lot of presentation of the developments of a product.
Advice
I would say absorb everything the company has to offer. There is so much to learn in this the R&D medical industry. Therefore, go in with an open mind and ask questions even if you think they are not intelligent questions, people are always there to help you learn and grown in this field.
