The experience overall was amazing. My boss, colleagues, the lessons- everything was enjoyable and fulfilling.

More counselors on staff for certain weeks.

This job will definitely teach you whether or not you want to work for kids.

What I liked
Gaining animal husbandry skills, learning about the wildlife of Ohio, and being able to participate in events that included the public.
What I wish was different
I wish I could've had more practice holding raptors.
Advice
Be able to deal with everything that comes with animal care (cleaning up all sorts of things) and don't be surprised if you get projects that aren't necessarily animal care related (things still need to be well organized and clean in the building).
