The internship gave me a great insight into the different functions of the Secretary of State's office. Additionally, connections within the office gave me opportunities to tour different parts of the government, like the Ohio State House.
What I wish was different
It would be great if the internship could be paid as it does require a considerable amount of time.
Advice
Say yes to everything! If your goal is to simply learn more, every door opened is a good one.
