I loved that the work environment was very friendly and teaching oriented while also allowing us to take charge. I enjoyed that we did a lot of hands on work and got to truly experience what goes on behind the scenes in the Senate.
What I wish was different
One thing I wish was different was that my internship could have been longer.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share about my experience is to trust in the training you get and to believe them when they say its okay to ask questions.
