What I liked

I loved working in the CalFresh Healthy Living Program. We went out in the community and worked with many low income individuals. We are able to have nutrition classes, good demonstrations, and have a pop up food bank.

What I wish was different

I wish we could service everyone, not just older adults. I believe the youth need the information on how to create better eating and exercise habits.

Advice

I advise that anyone who is considering working in the Health Science Field, invest in some good running shoes. I was in my feet 80% of the day, and it is an active program that I am in. And I really enjoyed making lasting friendships with community members, coworkers, and other organizations.
