Everyone in the office was amicable, and made all of us interns to feel welcomed and appreciated. I was given many responsibilities which many other interns in different offices were not. I feel that I learned an immense amount in my time interning for this office.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to stay on for longer!
Advice
Come in ready to be out of your comfort zone, with an open mind, and a good work ethic. The Capitol is an amazing place to be, but you have to be willing to open yourself to whatever comes your way. No one day is the same as the next.
