It was a great experience. I had the opportunity to not only meet Donna Shalala but also work with her. I learned an enormous amount of information about the government and what being a congresswoman entails. I was lucky to meet many important government officials that I would potentially work for in the future.
What I wish was different
I would've preferred to have more work than our everyday tasks. They tended to get very repetitive and boring.
Advice
It's an amazing opportunity that looks great on your resume and teaches you so much valuable information about politics.
