What I liked

I liked that there was always something to do because this kept me busy while on the job. I also liked how much knowledge I gained about stocking the store and dealing with freight.

What I wish was different

One thing that I wish would be different was that my coworkers would be more helpful at times. Some of them had been with the company for multiple years so I feel like there’s a lot of knowledge to share but sometimes they did not share their knowledge with me when I first began with the company.

Advice

A piece of advice I would share about this experience is that you made a lot of people love be new cashier so try to talk with customers and make any possible catches you can to help further yourself for the future.

What I liked

I loved working with my coworkers and helping really nice customers. I enjoyed offering up suggestions of shoes.

What I wish was different

I wish the hours would have been different. They were long and took up most of the day. Plus, I was on my feet a lot.

Advice

I think everyone should participate in retail because you learn a lot. You learn that you should treat retail employees with respect when you're shopping because you appreciate it when customers treat you with respect when you're working. You also learn that you do not want to do retail for the rest of your life, so it gives you some motivation to figure out what you want to do in the future.
