This was the first year of tabling for Groundwork, and the staff were exceptionally supportive. They were willing to give more hours and allow time off. The tabling events require communication skills but they do a great job teaching.
What I wish was different
I wish we had some more hours for certain weeks, but that was expected due to the first year of trying tabling.
Advice
To be open-minded because a lot of people we talk to may be in different situations that are expected. Also, getting out there and talking to random individuals may be difficult but it’ll become easier with practice.
