I was able to get a lot of facetime with senior management, whether it be working on actual live deals or just doing basic Powerpoint creation or cranking out financial models. Senior management encouraged us to work on all sorts of assignments and gave us the freedom to work at our own pace but produce quality work.
What I wish was different
I wish the internship was in person, this way I would have been able to interact with the team better (given I was 3 hours behind Eastern time) and just finish a lot of the work together in tandem with everyone. But nothing else otherwise.
Advice
I would advise everyone to reach out to the management team and just ask as many questions as need be. They have so much industry knowledge and experience to share and I think that is the best thing about working with a small team.
