What I liked

The company is extremely sustainable (building is LEAD platinum certified, automated temperature regulatory system, etc.). The company also provides a free and healthy lunch every day! They really care about your health so they offer free work out classes in their gym on campus! The internship itself is really interesting and you get to go on "field trips" throughout the summer with the interns in other departments. You will get to work on a project all summer and present to executive leadership team in a competition.

What I wish was different

I wish there was a more consistent work load. Some days it felt that I had way too much to do and other days it felt like I had nothing to do.

Advice

Take advantage of all of the opportunities you will get to spend with your coworkers outside the office! Our department goes on bi monthly lunches and Novus is always offering opportunities to meet outside of work.

What I liked

Great work environment. Free, healthy lunch every day. Lots of activities for interns (trip to Zoo, guest speakers, etc). Opportunity to check out other areas of the company.

What I wish was different

I enjoyed my time at Novus. If I had any concerns, I could about them with my manager and we worked them out.

Advice

Talk to as many people in your department as you can. Build a good relationship with them.

What I liked

I had an independent project where I was given all the freedom. Benefits were great; all meals, transportation and housing was covered by the company so I was able to save everything I made. There were a lot of benefits in the company including free meals, free snacks, free gym classes.
