Guest Service Representative

April 2017 • Plano, TX

What I liked

When rush time comes around throughout the week and the weekends the whole bakery locks down and works as a team to help the guest. Wanting the guest to have the best experience they can is satisfying especially when you know that it has been a hard day for them. The bakery is my second family and I like how that we help and support each other rather than tear each other down.

What I wish was different

I wish we had a better flow from the crafters to the GSR's for decorated items. It can be slow and inefficient at times.

Advice

Having a positive outlook and energy is key. Now in days it can be so easy to be negative and complain but if you see the good no matter how small it makes the atmosphere so much better. It can be said in any situation.

Shift manager

April 2015 • Huntersville, NC

What I liked

I loved my coworkers and the atmosphere of the store.

What I wish was different

Asked for a raise. After working there off/on for nearly four years I felt like I deserved a pay increase.

Advice

Don’t settle for a pay you don’t think you deserve. Step up and ask for a raise if you feel like you’ve done enough work to earn it.
