I liked the environment in the office and the mentors I worked with. They did a great job teaching us everything we needed to know before the summer even started. I liked how they provided course materials for us to earn our Life and Accident Health Insurance license, which I earned in April. They also had a very organized internship schedule and tasks for us every week.
What I wish was different
I wish that I figured out before the summer started that I wouldn't like the actual job. I realized in June that I hated cold calling people every day, and knew this wouldn't be what I wanted to do the rest of my life.
Advice
I would advise that you talk to students who previously held this internship experience. Until talking to one of them or actually doing it, you don't know if it is for you. However, I am glad I learned along the way that it wasn't what I wanted, and at least I got something out of it.
