The people are so welcoming, take you under their wing and treat you as if you were a full time staff member. When I was there, I did not feel like an intern. I was immediately trusted with projects the first week I was there and loved having the freedom to be creative and ask questions. I was able to help them most with their motion graphics and create a series of animated videos to go with each series. It was during this time that I found my passion of creating motion graphic elements. Not only did I grow in leadership I also grew spiritually and in my design skills.
What I wish was different
I wish it would've been longer than 10 weeks. I loved the time I got to spend at Northridge. I got invited to go back next summer and I couldn't be more excited to be back on their team.
Advice
If you are at all interested about serving in a local church or working in missions, I would highly recommend interning at Northridge.
