I like my position mainly as I enter the business and entertainment world this was a good way to get an insight into how everything behind the scenes works.

I love working on campus because I know my employers will never schedule any shifts that will conflict with my classes. Working for the Campus Visit Program is so fun because I get to be the first person that prospective students meet at Northern!

I could work more. I was limited to 20 hours in the summer and 11 during the school year

I loved it I built wonderful relationships with professors that I havenet even taken classes with and built up great skills for working in an office enviornment

With handshake I was aware of any job postings for on-campus jobs (which was what I was looking for at the time).
What I wish was different
It was really hard to apply through handshake, I printed my application and turned it in straight to the office.
Advice
If you are in college and looking for jobs, get a job on campus. They work with your schedule way better than off-campus jobs.

The lovely people I got to call my co-workers. And my employers did all they could in order to be there to make the environment safe and positive for us.
What I wish was different
I would've wished to be paid a wage along with the housing to be covered rather than just dining dollars.
Advice
I learned a ton about myself by being alone for long. So my advice would be to take this job if you're okay with being alone for long periods of time.
