About North Hennepin Community College

Founded in 1966, North Hennepin Community College is one of the largest and most diverse community colleges in Minnesota and a member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system - the fifth largest system in the United States. While NHCC students come from all over Minnesota, other parts of the United States, and close to 100 foreign countries, most come from the northwest metro area of the Twin Cities – from the communities such as Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove, Osseo, Plymouth, North Minneapolis, Champlin, and Brooklyn Center. Flexible evening and weekend scheduling, accelerated courses and online options offer convenience to fit any busy lifestyle. Students can complete a number of baccalaureate degrees offered through partner universities right here on the NHCC campus.
