Was awarded a summer fellowship (through the Undergraduate Research Center and the Mentor-Mentee program and humanities, etc.) to continue working on an independent research project in the arts. It was great to be recognized and financially supported for my work.

Advice
Highly recommend the mentor-mentee program. Participation in extracurricular activities that provide guidance in your field is worth it. Also highly recommend independent study courses - gives you the academic freedom to pursue your own interests and gain more real-world experience.
