What I liked
I love the shelter environment, the advocates on staff, my duties, and being able to directly work with domestic violence survivors.
What I wish was different
Perhaps more clarity on what I would be doing every day. But overall, I did enjoy having each day be more spontaneous.
Advice
I would advise interested students to definitely be prepared for emotional situations.
