Volunteer
October 2018 • Miami, FL
What I liked
The staff was really nice and were very clear when giving instructions on what to do. The volunteer resources department understood that I am a student and were able to be flexible to my schedule so that I could continue working there. I learned a lot about how mental health is taken care of at the hospital and it has pushed me to continue pursuing a career in the field. I am glad I was able to participate in this experience that Nicklaus offered me.

Nurse
December 2017 • Coral Gables, FL
What I liked
Highly recommended hospital for new nursing grads to work for. I feel welcomed by staff and upper management. Positive working environment
What I wish was different
Higher pay to be competitive to other hospitals in the area. More compensation to go towards student loans.
Advice
When in you interview be calm and collective. Don't be afraid to show your personality because that is what the managers want to see and feel.

Advice
Utilize as many resources as you can throughout your professional experience. While I was working throughout my education, I made sure to create strong professional networks while taking advantage of all the growth opportunities my company had to offer (continuing education courses, certifications, etc.). Being in school is not an excuse to slack in the workplace or fail to take advantage of all the opportunities in a company.
