What I liked

Everyone at NEXUS made me feel so welcome and a part of the team. My supervisor was very helpful and was very adamant on giving me assignments I would enjoy. NEXUS has such an amazing mission of bringing a community together to better the work which made working there feel so good! Overall, working at NEXUS was an amazing experience.

What I wish was different

I wish that I was able to do my internship in person. We had a big NEXUS Impact Day event online which was very successful and allowed me to see how incredible the NEXUS community is and the power they hold. However, this event was originally supposed to be a week long in person summit which would have been an amazing experience to be a part of. Also, being in person would have made making lasting relationships with my coworkers much easier.

Advice

One piece of advice I would share about this experience is to take away as much as you can from it and work hard to create a good lasting impression on everyone you can! NEXUS has an incredible community where one can learn so much from the members and the team.
