I liked that I got hands on training in writing my own stories, editing interviews and reporting on camera for my stand ups. My favorite was going On Air and having my own segment on Tuesdays for Entertainment News for Ozarks FOX AM!
What I wish was different
I wish we had On Air experience in Kolr 10 but Ozarks FOX AM gave me the opportunity.
Advice
Don’t be afraid to ask questions and put yourself out there let the newsroom know who you are and what your skills are. Also be a self starter they appreciate that!
