I loved the organization as a whole and the people I was working with. I made great connections and friendships and still keep in touch with a lot of them. I also loved New York City and cannot wait to go back.
What I wish was different
I wasn't all too fond of sales, so I wish I had been doing something else like marketing, but I enjoyed my experience as a whole and am glad I got the opportunity to feel out how I like sales.
Advice
Go into it with an open mind and learn as much as you can. Even if you don't take everyone's advice, internalize it and take it with you to possibly use in future endeavors.

Stadium Events Intern
May - August 2019 • New York City, NY
What I liked
I learned so much throughout the summer. The Yankees organization have a really great internship program that values their interns and the opportunity to teach. Many of the people I interacted with were interns themselves before being hired and really took the time to get to know us individually and give us a lot of responsibility.
What I wish was different
I wish I had more say in the department I was placed into. I ended up loving it and the people there; however, it was not a particular interest of mine.
Advice
Be willing to do or try anything and don't be afraid to ask questions or for more responsibility.
