I liked having a job that allowed me to use my experience and skill to help train and support other employees.
What I wish was different
I wish NYU athletics hadn't completely gotten rid of the Lead position and demoted everyone in it back to a minimum wage position without any warning, discussion or notification.
I wish we were properly compensated for all the emails we had to send begging management to do something about the safety issues they ignored for months.
Advice
I wouldn't work for a company that doesn't value their employees and chooses to demote employees in order to save paying them 50 cents over minimum wage for skilled labour.
