What I liked
Due to travel distance, I was given the opportunity to work from home three days a week, and travel to the office the other two days.
What I wish was different
The research studies done have a time frame. Once the study is over, externs must be reassigned and wait months to be paid again after training or must look elsewhere.
Advice
I would advise others to take this externship because above all the research lab has a deep appreciation for education and therefore allows for schedule to work around classes and allows for shifts to be cancelled due to homework and project related issues (time must be made up).
