About New England Wildlife Center

New England Wildlife Center (NEWC) is a non-profit wildlife animal rehabilitation hospital and education center, located in South Weymouth, Massachusetts. This “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (L.E.E.D.) certified building includes a medical care unit, surgery suite, medical laboratory, digital radiography, diet preparation area, several animal holding areas, designated necropsy room, and nature center geared towards providing a hands-on, interactive approach to learning. NEWC is also home to The Odd Pet Vet, an exclusively exotic companion animal commercial veterinary practice. 100% of the proceeds from The Odd Pet Vet go directly to NEWC, helping to offset the cost of care for wildlife and the delivery of education programs.
