I rotated through Equity Research and Investment Banking. It was a great way for me to experience working in different areas of a bank. At the end of the summer I was able to make a more informed decision as to what I wanted to do after I graduate. I highly recommend this internship for students who want to pursue a career in finance but aren't exactly sure what division they are interested in the most.
What I wish was different
It was heavily skewed toward Equity Research. I would have preferred more balance in the internship.
Advice
Always be enthusiastic and willing to learn. A positive attitude goes a long way in making a good overall impression with your employers.
