I got to work with a great team of people. I rotated through many different positions within the organization spending about a week on each while also completing a single project throughout the entire summer.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been assigned more work for hands-on experience, the program was more training oriented.
Advice
This was great for gaining global experience as the Navy Exchange has stores worldwide. I would recommend taking advantage of meeting as many people as possible because they are all very willing to share their experiences in buying, inventory planning, management, finance, etc.
