What I liked
I was a former recipient of the program, and it had changed my life forever. With this program, and the knowledge that I have learned from them, I received a full ride scholarship to the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I did receive other scholarships from other universities, but it’s better not paying out of my pocket when I get the same education as other people do.
What I wish was different
Nothing, this program was something unexpected, because of this program I knew what I wanted to do, and that was to become a civil engineer.
Advice
For the students that are in high, take advantage of the opportunities your school provides for you. Opportunities like this don’t come back, you just never know, it might change your life just like this program changed mine.

Better discipline
Advice
If you want to work with high schoolers, make sure to be a very forgiving person. Discipline is necessary to maintain order, but don't hold it over a student who has finished their punishment.
