Nativity School of Worcester

About Nativity School of Worcester

Nativity School of Worcester is an accredited, Jesuit, private, tuition-free school for underserved students in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades who are residents of the City of Worcester. The school has a maximum of 17 students in each grade. The small class size encourages individual growth in the Jesuit tradition: attention to the needs and talents of each individual student, low student-teacher ratio, opportunities for expression in the arts and in sports, and a dedication to service in the local community and the broader world. Drawing upon four pillars – strength, scholarship, character, and service – a Nativity education inspires self-discovery, responsibility, spiritual growth, and a lifelong dedication to learning.

Reviews

Intern

May 2022 - July 2022 Worcester, MA
“Working at Nativity in the summer was one of the best experiences I've had in my college career so far. The faculty and staff welcomed me and the other interns with open arms, going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and needed at Nativity. The school's mission to serve under-resourced boys was evident in every task that we completed for the internship, and it was clear that everyone prioritized this mission at all times. The interns were able to interact with the students at Nativity during their three-week Summer Session, which was an incredible part of the internship - seeing the students and faculty together was what brought their work alive and showed me what it was really like to work at the school. I could not say enough good things about Nativity, and I encourage everyone to get involved with them! ”
