I absolutely loved this internship. I gained experience with writing for a professional organization and helping with outreach on social media. There was always something to do, so it kept me on my toes at all times. It taught me how to better manage multiple projects at once and how to better my writing skills for specific platforms. Also, everyone who works there was extremely welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even more beneficial.
What I wish was different
The only thing I wish I could have done was write more blogs. However, it was only an eight week long internship, and I had other important projects to complete, too.
Advice
If you're passionate about advocating for survivors of sexual violence and have an interest in working for nonprofits, this internship is a great place to gain that experience.
