Through this internship, I was able to be cross-trained and learn of many different positions in the office. I learned human resource skills, accounts receivable and accounts payable, payroll, and production.
What I wish was different
I really enjoyed this internship, the only downfall was that my position started at 7 AM, which was a little early for me to be working and thinking.
Advice
This internship gave me the opportunity to really get experience in the field I am perusing. I was able to see what it was like to be a HR in an office setting. Through this internship I have connected with many great people who I continue to keep in touch with today. I would share the advice to apply for an intern that relates with your degree, because there is no better way to see if you like what you are interested in than to be in that exact position.
