The National Aviary, located in Pittsburgh, PA, is fully accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and is the only nonprofit, free-standing indoor facility in the U.S. wholly dedicated to avian exhibition, education, conservation, and the development and practice of leading-edge avian medicine. The diverse collection comprises more than 500 birds representing over 140 species from around the world.
