The culture of the offices, the relaxed environment, employee appreciation, and general welcomeness
What I wish was different
The separation of departments. There was little-to-no cross-department mingling and employees from other parts of the company wouldn’t really try to interact with anyone they didn’t know.
Advice
Try to talk to as many people as you can, there are a lot of interesting individuals in one building.

What I liked
I enjoyed working with various companies and creating sales pitches.

Public and Government Affairs Intern
May - August 2018 • Daytona Beach, FL
What I liked
The whole team is very welcoming of interns and it was a great experience to see the race come to life.
What I wish was different
Since they only have summer interns, sometimes its hard to find work to do as during the year they do that work themselves.
Advice
Definitely try to network as much as possible while you're there, it's all about who you know!

Strategic Development Intern
May - August 2018 • New York City, NY
What I liked
I loved living in a new place. I have been born and raised in Florida my entire life and having the opportunity to be in New York City for the summer was amazing. I also loved getting to know my coworkers. People are always willing to teach you if you are willing to learn.
What I wish was different
I wish I could have stayed or been there longer. I learned a lot but was just getting to the point of being "comfortable".
Advice
Ask as many questions as possible. Ask work questions, ask personal questions, become friends with these people that work around you. They all come from different backgrounds and can help you out along your journey at diferent points.
