I first I was only doing phone calls but I got to learn a lot about how a campaign is run and the work that goes into it

Wish she would have won but im helping with Andrew Gillums campign now.
Advice
Go out there and ask for what you want. I met one of Gwens campign organizers and asked him to take me under his wing and he did. Worst they can do is say no.

I got hands on experience using the engineering process, designing experiments, processing data, and figured out that i rather enjoy doing this sort of thing! I got to work with robotics and that was AWESOME
What I wish was different
I wish it could have been a paid position because I had to hold another job while working there so that I could support myself XD I would have liked to spend more time doing research
Advice
you have to be self motivated and find your place in the lab, it can be a little rough at first because you wont know whats going on or what you should do, but with determination and work you could have an amazing time
