I liked how large the company was for summer stock theatre. There were resources and opportunity available to me that I haven’t gotten at other theatres
What I wish was different
I wish the production team above me had done a better job getting us prepared for the larger shows. We went from 9-5 straight into 16 hour days because they weren’t prepared.
Advice
Be able to receive criticism in a constructive way. Higher ups are just trying to help you be better. Try to cooperate with peers and take time for yourself. It’s a very intense summer.

This job required a strong work ethic and takes a lot of time and dedication. It prepares you for the real world to be a problem solver and be creative, but under a fair amount of pressure and time constricts
