The former Registrar, Susan Bolanos, was an outstanding boss to work with. She was truly instructive and went above and beyond the mentorship that was expected. She tailored her teaching strategies to my personal goals and made me feel like a valued and respected member of the team. The staff is also lovely and welcoming. There are many exemplary people at this institution, among them Solimar Salas and Simone Moffat, whose drive and work ethic I admired and aspired towards.
What I wish was different
Perhaps the commute could have been shorter but I don't think I would change anything about my experience.
Advice
Ask questions and don't be afraid to show that you're still learning. The people here are willing to teach you and push you to be better. Show intentionality and proactiveness.
