I connected with the Central Connecticut Paralegal Association. I started with job shadowing different paralegals in the Hartford and New Haven office while I completed my graduate certificate for paralegal studies. I was then offered and interview and got the job! it's definitely beneficial to connect with associations and groups in your chosen field to gain potential job shadow/mentorship/internship connections that could get you an interview!
