I had lots of time to solely focus on my independent project and really make progress.
What I wish was different
I wish that there were more food options on campus over the summer, especially during normal meal hours. You really have to plan ahead if you want to have food for breakfast and dinner and you don't want to have to travel off campus.
Advice
Create a clear plan about what you want to accomplish by the end of the 8 weeks, then break it down each week to make that goal possible. The weeks fly by and if you are not careful, you will end up wondering what happened to all the time you had.
