Great boss and coworkers. Interesting and relevant projects. Learned many new tools, technologies, and processes that the full-time employees also use; I really did feel like the work I did had value. The experience has given me fantastic preparation for working in a more complex software development environment. Boss gave us challenging work but was also always available for questions and guidance when we needed it. Company cares about their employees and it shows.

For a college student looking for their first internship: definitely visit the lesser-known companies at the Career Fair! MTSI was not on my radar at all, and I just happened to stumble across their booth. I lucked out.
Also, while my programming and problem solving skills were part of why I was hired, I was told that my friendly personality and ability to communicate well were what gave me an edge up.
