It is strictly pay by commission so it is an adjustment one must learn to make.
Advice
If you work hard during the summer, you will be able to not have to work and then just focus on school throughout the rest of the year

I enjoyed carrying out the daily tasks and responsibilities I was trusted with. I was in charge of the human resource department and took on various tasks that the business owner typically would do. Learning first hand from an experienced business owner was extremely valuable

I worked with a group of guys that were all very goal oriented and inspired that kind of attitude in those around them.

Knocking doors can be draining, it would’ve been nice to have a day off once a month other than sundays.
Advice
If you’re going to do door to door sales, dedicate yourself 100% to working hard the whole summer before you start and learn the basics as quickly as possible. Work harder in the beginning so it pays off as you continue in this job

I wish I would have been on a team with a more experienced leader so I could get better sales training.

I would highly recommend doing sales even though it may have a bad stigma in Provo.
